Obituary:

Ralph Krupp, age 88 died peacefully at home on 5/20/12 surrounded by family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Luba Krupp; and parents, Gute and Roy Krupp. Survived by daughters, Deborah Krupp (Michael Samuelson), Amy (Lyle) Krupp Niemi; granddaughter, Ilana Niemi; grandson, Grant Niemi (Jie Quian); brothers, Marvin and Fred Krupp; many wonderful nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Ralph was born and raised in Duluth and was the owner and operator of NP News and Lunch at the Union Depot, later the Chateau Gift Shop at the Radisson Hotel. Ralph served with the artillery in the entire WWII European Theater with his twin brother Fred. He was a member of Temple Israel. He greatly appreciated nature, outdoor sports, and time at his cabin with family and friends. Ralph’s loving nature and great sense of humor will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. Funeral service SUNDAY, 10:30AM at Hodroff-Epstein Memorial Chapel, 126 East Franklin Ave., Minneapolis. Graveside service will be held in Duluth. Memorials are preferred to the Second Harvest Food Shelf.
